Verizon has filed for a zoning variance to allow them to begin building mini cell towers in Greenwood Meadows. The first of what may be many cell towers is proposed to be located at the intersection of Briarwood Dr E and Briarwood W. According to the proposal, this would be a 40+ Foot monopole antenna. They have also proposed installing similar cell towers on Nottingham Way and Fox Hill Drive West. THESE ARE ALL NEIGHBORHOODS WITH UNDERGROUND UTILITIES…
These poles are taller then zoning allows homes to be built and dwarfs the nearby trees. Here is one on Roundtop Rd. Notice the 6ft gym locker on the pole, notice the size of the stop sign next to it… These things are eyesores and will impact the property values in Greenwood Meadows.
